When your boost tapers from 40 to 35 lbs and you go from making 750 to 650 whp at the top end of your rpm range I don't think you will have time to contemplate that issue

I reckon stick with the 1.06.

there is prob a diff of spool of maybe 150-200 rpm with going with a smaller one.
buy both and test and see which one you like if you want it to come on sooner.

if 750 is enough, go with his a/r

Not the best advice on the twin scroll stuff. I've seen bigger A/Rs spool just as fast and really pick up power up top. Twinscroll stuff seems to have an optimal A/R where bigger or small just hurts you all around.

Did I say run the smallest A/R possible?

NO.

You're a typical engineer, no reading comp.

Every setup has its optimal A/R it will vary depending on the build and the owners expectations/wants.

No, I read what you wrote and comprehended it just fine, thanks. I just disagree with what you said.

The smallest A/R that meets your HP goal may just give you the lowest HP for a given spool characteristic. That's my point.

The smallest A/R that meets your HP goal will give you the best spool characteristic, unless you prefer lag with any application. I doubt there are many twin scroll hotsides out there, unless there are some that are less volume substantially than their single scroll counterparts that give up spool whilst going larger.

I saw that also and have to wonder, what was so incredible about it? they had to run 38psi to just break 700awhp on C/Q16....

our GT37R kits are putting down ~650@28psi on 109unleaded and a couple on E85...
