A/C compressor

Has someone had issues with noisy a/c compressor while engaged?Sounds like a box of marbles!Evo IX with 31K.

not on my evo..... put i have had an issue on my S-10. You need a new A/C compressor.

If you look at the pully, you should see metal shavings. Thats the pully clutch rubbing.

From reading posts here on the forums, many people suggest that the sound is normal for an Evo. Is the sound on your car constant or does it start upon activation and then fade away?
