Stock Limitations and GT35R

Hey guys, Im fairly new to the Evo scene, looking to upgrade to a GT35R kit!! What other supporting mods do you guys suggest?

My car currently is pretty stock, basic bolt(intake, exhaust, downpipe, boost controller) ons except for the GSC S1. What is the stock limitations of the bottom end? Can it realiably handle 500+WHP provided the car is properly tuned?

What is a good clutch to handle 500AWHP?
Which intercooler kit do you guys suggest?
What kind of fuel upgrades besides a walboro pump?
Any need to upgrade the axles?

Thanks in Advance for your help!!!

-twin HD will work, but i dont think it will last that long pushing 500+, quartermaster twin is my suggestion.

-the only intercooler i will ever suggest to anyone is the Buschur race FMIC, its simply the best out there, period!

-all u will need is a single walboro 255 pump and some injectors, unless your running e85 ull need twin pumps. 1000cc injectors would be more than enough.

-no need to worry about axles, unless you push 800+ whp

im selling my buschur 35r kit for $2900 shipped... only has 800 miles on it. the numbers from tuning are in my sig.

not true...a 255lph walbro will be at wits end around 500hp...relying on it will sacrifice power and will need to be tuned around based on mellon's research

Thanks a lot for your advise guys!! As far as the internals are concerned, everything is stock inside the motor except ARP headstuds!!

From the responses...I guess I will be getting the BR intercooler kit. Clutch Im still not sure on what I will be getting!

As far as the Fuel pump is concerned, in the supra world...one Walboro 255 is good for 600rwhp...from your feedbacks..seems like 500 is a push with one pump!!
well I guess I need to do more research in this area!! 1000cc injectors seems like what I will be getting!!

What other supporting mods do you guys suggest that I might have left out...Electronics? Have a EGT and BOOST guage now, soon a wideband! Will the stock ECU capable of handling all of these mods?

Once again thanks a lot for your help guys!!

yes, i run mine on a stock ecu. i suggest mellon tuning as a tuner, hes amazing at what he does.

EGT boost and wideband are good, i would suggest oil pressure too, but thats just me.

The most IMPO Gauges :
Boost, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, EGT,

And for the stock ECU with stock MAF, Yes they can handle +- 500bhp
Good luck

Also, don't forget to look at the Forced Performance HTA series of turbos before getting a regular 35R. The wait time sucks but they keep coming out with incredible stuff.

I'm currently running an ETS PT61mm stock bottom end and ecu @ 500.4whp 407.6wtq on a Mustang Dyno on e85

Clutch - Devo/Quarter Master Twin Disk
ETS 3.5in Widetank Intercooler
Fuel - DeatschWerks 1600cc Fuel injectors, Bosch 044 Fuel Pump, and Aeromotive Fuel Presure Regulator

Axles are pretty stout on the Evo realy don't think you'll need them unless you are pushing a crazy amount of power
