Help Please

Hi guys,

So heres a good one. Yesterday, I just started my car and was sittin in front of my house when I notice a slight "hiccup" in the car. I was worried but decided to do what I had to do. I go to the bank to meet someone and as I'm sitting there it got proggresvily worse. Basically the car was sputtering really bad. Luckly I was close to autozone, so I took a ride down there. They pulled the code
P0304. Misfire in cyclinder 4. GREAT. I changed the spark plugs and the misfire seemed to be cured, only problem now is when Im driving the car runs fine until I start to boost. Anything over 10 pounds causes the car to shudder, misfire - all sorts of fun. Any ideas!?!?

I don't want to sound rude, but have you checked all your tubing to make sure nothing was knocked loose while you guys were messing around under the hood?

It sounds simple but you might have knocked a air tube loose, it's happened to me...

Try gapping your spark plugs. A good gap is around .024"

my money is on the coil packs crapping out.

when mine went, it was a couple days from when i started to pick up a slight misfire under boost, till it was only running on 2 cyl. but for about 1000 miles leading up to that it was eating plugs REAL fast, like 70-100 miles.

see if you can borrow somebodys coil packs to try. and if you do need new coils and ur gunna stick with oem, get a coil pack and plug wire set for 05-06

Everything done 8000 miles ago....coil, boots, plugs & wires. Everything looked fine except the #4 cylinder, that plug was fryed. Why would this keep happening only in that cylinder??

By "fried" what do u mean? Maybe you have a blown head gasket, and a little coolant is entering the combustion area. Or you may be having detonation issues. Mods? Tune?Have you gapped your plugs?
