I'm wondering why my comment was deleted too. I told them to stop bickering and show proof .

Just because I'm from the Northwest doesn't mean I support them. If you look at my signature you might realize that. ... I'm am so sick of Buschur being rude on these boards.

Either way... I had someone request pics of my front mount Perrin.

OK, I guess I'll just be like the rest of the EvoM posters instead of posting facts.

Buy the Buschur, it's the best. I have no factual data...it's just the best because that's what I bought.

I agree with David, ETS should not have jump on this thread. But, it is a free world.

I just found some testing on Buschurs RACE FMIC, turns out David Buschur did the testing himself in 2005. I just posted on a different thread.

If anyone is interested here is a link: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...6&postcount=39

What I don't understand is why it's only the buschurites that chime in for buschur. It seems it's all the dealers and producers of it. I understand you want to make money and I understand you make a good product... but there has yet to be any UNBIASED proof. Unbiased is what we need.

OK MR. Unbiased. Go do a IC test if your looking for proof. Buy the parts, install the parts and rent a dyno. What more do you want, there are alot of happy BR customers chiming in because :
A. They bought parts from BR
B. The parts they bought perform well on their car's
C. The performance is confirmed with the accomplishments said parts have had on other car's ( BR Drag ) and the list MikeAWD posted
D. happy with the customer service and the buying experience
E. Believe David B has tested/posted enough info to feel comfortable

BTW It probably won't be good enough for some but their are IC tests out there...( check BR's forums ) that has some really good info that you will undoubtedly call bias.

Your not going to find much unbiased proof... Proof is in the pudding,.. Any cars run 9's thise season with a perrin FMIC?? i didnt think so.. If i owned a company that produced FMIC and i tested the Buschur and it was better that mine i wouldnt post it either..

Mike, you can turn John Shepherd's name to RED too, he has our Race FMIC on the car Thanks for putting that list up.

migs, you can take this next information for what it's worth. Haters won't see the other side of an arguement no matter what someone says, I'm going to attempt to help you see the light though.

Unlike many other shops I actually test parts here. I test them on a nearly non stop basis. I've owned a dyno since 1998, first a Dynojet we tested on and for the last 4 years or so an AWD Mustang Dyno. Unlike many other shops here I am a true enthusiast too. I don't come here from 9-5 and go home. Many of you can confirm that you may get e-mails from me at 3 am. I am a racer and being a racer I want the absolute best part on my car, this leads me to do a ton of testing. This isn't a job, it's my life. You guys wonder why I get rude with someone, well guys this isn't some 9-5 for me, it's what I've poured my life into for the last 20 years. I am passionate about this beyond what 99.9% of you can possibly even imagine. When you've worked this hard for this long and you know in your heart you've been honest and the testing you have done has proven to provide results it is quite disturbing to have someone who has done nothing question what you say or come at you with some stupid comment.

This is just a hobby to most of you that will pass in a year or two and you'll move on to some other POS to build or work on. For me, I'll be here still working with the 4g63's or the new 4g11, I'm not going anywhere and it's more than a hobby.

I have seen a 35R evo with a Perrin Fmic raise 50 degrees on one pull with a perrin fmic with not that much boost.

^^^ that would be my car and it went up 49 degrees exactly on ONE pull. Robbed me for a good 60whp I'd say.

Dave has my log somewhere, please post it if you like

I'm not a shop rat, so you want unbias? Here it is...

I was sponsored a Perrin FMIC which I greatly appreciated. I was told it would support 600whp no problem. I built my car from top to bottom and brought it to buschur. Chris from no limit came in his 9 as well. I had the 3.5" perrin fmic and Chris had the 3.5" ETS cooler. Heres the results:

My car made 523whp on 37 psi on buschurs dyno on a 35R. I had like 3 degrees of timing in my car at 8k because it would knock on anything above that. My IAT was 101 or so and went to 149 by the end of the pull. This was on 117 octane gas. Dave looked at EVERYTHING else before he realized the cooler just couldnt handle it. I had an AMS VSR, buschur ported TB, cosworth 272's and buschur COP.

Chris's car was built the same as mine except He had Stock cams, stock intake man, stock TB and stock ignition. He made 521 whp. Same gas as me. His ETS 3.5" cooler went up about 20-25 degrees. Outpeformed the perrin by far.

Dave himself even said that even though Chris's car woulda made a little bit more with a better core, his own deluxe cooler prob would have went up 20-25 degrees as well. So He said ETS's 3.5" performed ok for the size. My perrin being the same size performed like garbage. He also showed me a log of his RS with the Race core on it making almost 200 more whp in the same ambient temp and it went up around 5-7 degrees after a pull. He told me I had another 60+whp on the table with a better intercooler.

When I got home, I ordered the buschur 4", told perrin about their cooler and there answer was most people arent looking to make that much power and i maxxed it out. Did they change it? Did they test it? No. I got the 4" core from BR and as soon as I put it on, my car leaned out into the mid 12's from mid 11's on PUMP. What does that tell you? I sold the car before I retuned it on race gas.

I also watched Ricky from Top level gain over 70whp from changing to a BR 4" core from a TXS intercooler.

The point is, the BR core works. Maybe the perrin is fine on stock turbo. But I dont like to buy things twice. The BR core also works GREAT on the stock turbo because I have about 3 friends who had it and the cars ran great. I'm not a nutswinger for ANYONE but I can tell you that The BR 4" core is the ONLY true 4" garret core mentioned in this thread, thats why it costs what it costs.
