My vote goes to Perrin! The fit is flawless, the craftsmanship is excellent and they're probably some of the best people I've ever dealt with. Plus their sale right now makes them very competitive. I recently installed their FMIC and the change was immediately apparent. I didn't expect it to do much, but the car pulled much harder! To the point that even my girl noticed (maybe that says a lot, maybe it doesn't). Anyway, just my bit of feedback.
Also, because it's always nice to have some science to back a decision, I too will include this link in my post. Unbiased information is a wonderful thing. It helped me choose.

There is no "fitment issues" with our FMIC's, as some fan boy from another shop stated.

It has to be tough for some of these other shop supporters to deal with the fact we put so many EVO's in the 9's this year. I wish they'd get some self control though and stay out of threads that have nothing to do with who they are cheerleading for........

Can you explain how much more power you gained with data to back up you claim? Which ETS intercooler did you switch from and which Buschur intercooler did you switch to.

Hey Dave, hate to do this but I disagree with this statement. To the best of my knowledge none of the Buschur Racing Evo FMIC kits fit with the stock undertray and the "Race" and "BFIC" do not fit the stock crashbeam. I do realize they can be made to fit with trimming though.

thats not a fitment issue.. An issue is when it was designed to fit a certain way and does not.. The race FMIC does fit the Crash beam by the way.. the BFIC doesnt,, You can have your cake and eat it too.. its a wicked 4.5" intercooler that i have personally made 1000whp using on a 42r.. not a 45r but a 42r..

I would like to hear the list of EVERY part you have seen,, I have NEVER EVER had to alter a Buschur Part to make it fit EVER.,. you want pics of every single shop car and customer car here to show they are all identical in design and fit PERFECT..

And let me explain before i am accused.. YES i sell Buschur Parts.. If they didnt fit, as much as sell of them i would NEVER carry their product if it had fitment issues.. That wouldnt make much sense to have to redesign the parts after i paid for them..

Another observation i would like to point out is that its " almost " always someone in the NE that has something negative to say about Buschur.. All the 9 second cars produced out of there this season has got some peoples feelings hurt.. Its obvious..

Well I am in the NW, not the NE.

Ported Exhaust manifold
o2 housing
FMIC

I have "heard" more stories about the FMIC (even in this thread). For the manifold and o2 housing, they were used, but regardless they should have fit.

I don't think I said anything negative about all of the beasts they have built. Every other week there is a 500+ hp BR built thread up, so obviously they are doing something right. I was just stating my personal experiences, and I will continue to do so.

I meant to say NW..

please tell me you are joking about the exhaust manifold..

You really cannot be serious about a CAST IRON parts mitsubishi made that buschur ONLY ports does not fit right.. I read and reread your post to make sure i am reading correctly since it is 1am and my head is foggy.. Maybe its not the ported stocker your referring to.. IDK..

as far as the 02 housing i have never carried that product and i dont believe buschur MAKES that product either...

The FMIC from Deluxe, Race and BFIC have always fit every car i have installed them on.. ALWAYS!!

How about the BR DSM Alternator Relocate kit? It should come with a sledgehammer, because thats what is needed when you have to beat in the frame to make it fit....

A popular product i have never had in my hand.. sorry i cant comment as i have never installed one before.. As for the other 50 parts i sell from BR i havent run into any fitment issues.. I also havent ever had 1 single product returned from a customer for a fitment issue.. If im lying the members can feel free to remind me of anything ever returned due to fitment issues..

I didn't understand that either

and whether they make the o2 housings or not, they sale them.

Either way, like you stated, its 1 am, maybe we should go to bed and have this conversation tomorrow

As I stated before, I am not taking anything away from BR. They have been number one for the evo community, and built many mean cars. Just stating personal experiences with parts. No harm intended.
