help. super frustrated. dont know what to do

I was starting to install my 10.5 hotside today and I got stuck. Im removing the exhaust manifold and i was trying to take it apart from the hotside and now its stuck. I forgot to take off the c-clip from the hotside and i think thats what the problem is. Not to mention I cant move the manifold back to its original position. Its just stuck. Im so mad right now. And in the moment of just wanting to get the **** off i was trying everything possible and with the pry bar i was using i poked a hole in my radiater so now its leaking. ughhh this is the worst install i have ever put up with.

Do you guys have any suggestions. I probably wont finish today but I atleast want to take the exhaust manifold off or atleast get it unstuck so please guys i really need your help.Basically right now the hotside bolt is sitting right next to the mani.

if your trying to remove the hole turbo setup make sure you took out the bolt on the o2 housing that holds it to the block..

do not rip or pry on the turbo trying to get the hotside off. you will for sure mess up the turbine wheel. get the turbo off the car. put it on the floor and spray some wd40 on it. then tap it with a hammer. till it is free. then make sure to pull it straight off.

as for your radiator. i have a stock one sitting here i am not going to use. its beet up ''fins are bent'' but it does not leak at all. and when i had no waste gate tube it had a black round circle on it. other then that it works 100%. if you need/want it ill give it to you for FREE. just pay the shipping.

hope i helped you out.

if you take it alll the way off the turbo drops alittle and gives space to take the manifold off. should be smooth after that. how bad is your radiator. i have another stock one i might sell cheap. pm me if interested.

radiator has two very small holes that are leaking. not sure if that can be fixed. ifnot ill be happy to buy a used one.

I havent tried getting the hotside off the turbo yet. but i was prying on the hotside trying to get it loose from the manifold. that wont affect anything right? i hope not.

and also i just took the downpipe off right now. and still cant get it low enough to get this damn manifold off. I noticed there is two bolts kind of where the downpipe hook up two. do i take these off too. Im assuming i do because it looks like it holds the 02 housing to the car but im not sure

Ok one last question i figured i would ask in this thread as well.

I got the vband clamp loose but it still is clipped on to the turbo. Can i pull apart the turbine like this. What i mean is that the nut and screw is off the clamp but the clamp doesnt come off the turbo

Update? I'm looking into doing a 10.5 hotside here soon as well as o2 dump and new manifold. I'm interested in seeing how everything turned out with the reassemably!

I've done alot of wrenching and a few turbo installs but I've never actually split a turbo in half before. I'm a little nervous and there aren't any really detailed how-to's on splitting the turbo. Were you successfu? Easy to do? Tips?
