Tubular manifolds??
Don't be a hater.
I was just commenting on the looks. Most hot women are b*itches on the inside, but I bet that wouldn't stop you from banging them based on what you see on the outside.

Ok so everyone wants to complain because there are some bad units from Ebay out there. Some of them do have poor design, some of them are prone to cracking. But how many of you who have posted on here have personal 1st hand experience? Bought one for yourself and drove it until failure? Had 100% control over all variables and KNOW it was material failure or design failure? I am sure some have. I am one of them. I am still running mine. I make good power with it. I don't know how much I would make with a ported stocker because I have never done back to back dyno pulls nor do I have the money to pay for these types of comparisons. THATS WHY I BOUGHT AN EBAY MANIFOLD!!!! Guess what? Mine has never cracked! I've run over 25 psi and hit EGT's in excess of 1550. I'm sure I have hit much higher but by the time I was going slow enough to look at the EGT it was coming down past 1550 so I know that much for sure. On to the pics, yes the finish looks like a 2 year old manifold because it is!!!!

^^^ That's what some of us are wanting to hear.
Not all of the bs about how bad they are from people that have never used them. I'm going to get one and reweld the joints and brace it. I don't race or beat on my car so I think I will have good luck with mine.
I have use XS power mani on my 2g GSX and i never had any problems wit it.
and now on my evo i can either go w/ a stocker ported mani or a tubular mani yet honestly im prolly gonna go w/ the tubular and ceramic(autozone) paint it and call it a day
I believe as long as you dont hang a massive turbo on it you should be fine
it is only when you do that you should concider buying a good thick walled tubular mani
heres a pic of the tubular mani that will get ceramic painted

ive got an ebay manifold on my car and in about 3,000 miles it had a couple minor cracks in it. but if you buy one just send it to a welder and have him reinforce the manifold and it should hold up for a pretty long time
the ceramic paint is BS lol i bead blasted my stock ported manifold and then sprayed it with several even coats of the ceramic paint and baked it on as instructed on back of can...it doesnt rust but it doesnt even come close to what ceramic coating looks like, i have an ebay 1 i just bought and ported out i already reinforced the welds and added a bracket to help support the weight and its gunna get sent to a ceramic coater soon as i get rid of sum credit debt im about to be rid of...ill be posting results no worrys
I don't understand buying something that won't give me gains, and then have the probability of it breaking and costing me time to replace it, most likely back to the stocker.
The GTSpec one, I can see fitting maybe for the weight loss. Anyonw know what the stainless manifolds weight compared to the stock cast piece?

I know the cast one weighs about 15 pounds, next time I have a tubular Stainless steel one in my hands I'll weigh it. As far as not having gains, the tubular is both less expensive and flows better than the stocker. The ported stocker may or may not flow better. I haven't tested them back to back. But it definitely costs more. I got my tubular for under $100. Tell me that isn't a bargain.
