Cam Choices

I have a 2003 Evo 8 with the following mods:

Buschur Turbo Back/ TP/ Bullet Muffler
Buschur Inline MBC
Buschur MAF Pipe/ w Filter Kit
Buschur UICP
Buschur Mini Battery
ETS 4" FMIC
ETS Lower Piping

I am looking to get cams, in the future I want to run a 3076r.

What would be the best setup for me?

Pros/Cons

I have read a few threads in the past. Correct me if I am wrong, that is why I started a thread so I can find out more, and get some good input and suggestions.

there are evos running 500hp+ on stock ecu I don't think cams are a problem. for example like said before Mellon. Just need a good tunner. And for what I see I would say kelford272, thats what Im getting, but I'll be running a hta 3582R for you probably a step down or combos. Even some gsc people have runned them with great results on smaller turbos.

HKS 272 or Kelford tx272. Both cams have good idle characteristics and make good top end.

My buddy has the S2's in his 05 EVO and they sound WICKED! I have the Kelford 280/272's, and they sound good as well.. Both of these are good cams. Go look at the cam tests that AMS did and these two cams were pretty much the best ones, IMO.
