Have you had any HG issues. What boost? What HG? What studs? etc. Thanks

None what so ever. i do have an o-ringed block and am using a cometic HG. it was running 34.5 psi on that run, but i have since got it down to 29 but keeping the same hp by messing with the timing a little. they are def arp head studs but i cant remember if they are 1g or 2g. Was going to upgrade to the A1 studs if i ever have to take the head off. i also only rev to 7500 rpm. it makes peak power about 5500 and holds all the way to 7500.

i am running a 4g64, although it is in a 99 spyder. it is the orginal motor in the car when i purchased it. it was converted from sohc to dohc and from fwd to awd. it is running a 35r with 1600cc injectors, Fuellab single pump, completely stock 1g head with bc272 cams, wiesco pistons with eagle rods at 9.0 cr. it makes 661hp 651 tq at 36psi. it hits full boost at about 3700rpms and crosses the 500hp mark at 4500rpms and crosses the 600hp mark at 5k and holds it to redline 7500rpm.

Nice. 2.4s are really nice street motors for sure. Good torque and great power at relatively low boost when the combo is all there (cams, headwork, turbo).

Are you driving this set-up on the street? How big of a pain is it in stop and go traffic. I hear people say how the 2.4 is a great street engine because of the torque but you only really need the tourqe when your pulling out.

I think it would be awesome to have a 2.1l the revs to the moon on the street.

SBR is doing a 2.4 for me right now. I had them do the upgraded (lighter) rods so it cost a little more. I'm getting everything in a kit from them, to include came gears, water pump adapt, timing belt and head gasket.
