first off are you sure it is the synchro? have you checked fluids, drain fluids put in new oem fluids, and clutch pedal adjustment? my car has a built trans with an aftermarket clutch and grinds going into 5th @8000k shifts but doesnt grind @7,6,5,4,3,k shifts, i need to adjust pedal.

 

every evo is like that...u cant race into an overdrive gear

 

plus...whoever told u to double clutch is a tool and watches fast n furious way to much...the only people who double clutch is big rig truck drivers
