FPRed or BBK or Meth
+1 to that Co VR4
i dont understand why people continue to compare a turbo that flows 47lbs/min and a turbo that flows 60+lbs/min...its all up to whatever the customer wants
why dont you compare the Green/White to the BBK lite/full....now doesnt that make sense?

You sound like you've compared the characteristics of the BBK with the FP GREEN, and have good information to share. Is that true?
Please let us know what differences you found in comparing the compressor wheel of the "BBK" with the compressor wheel of the FP GREEN. Did you measure them? Compare the inducers and exducers? How about the fin shape and twist? What differences did you find?
The same information for the turbine wheels, if you please.
I'm very interested in your data.

But for what I know of the Green and BBK I'd say they're quite comparable. BBK flows like 1lbs/min less but dyno results of the BBK are just as impressive. That and the availability would be enough for me to choose BBK over Green. (talking brand new here, disregarding the fact everyone and their brother is selling their used Green)

When you guys say the FP Red is best for meth hi boost e85 etc and the BBK is better for pump gas and lower boost
Does that mean that FPRed will not make as much power as a BBK Full on 93 octane at say 25psi?

i say if you want an awesome street car and be extremely reliable with your stock internals then get the BBk. Even if you plan on upgrading other stuff the bbk can make some serious power with the right mods and keep the spool up amazing
Does anyone know exactly? Well I guess the BBK must be making more on 93 oct 25psi if that's what everyone's saying to go with for a street car?
Negative. They make almost the same power with the RED making slightly more on pump (obviously giving little spool). The benefit of the RED is it leaves lots of room to expand on high boost. There's a whole thread on FP RED dyno comparisons check it out. Bottom line, they are both great turbos and you can't go wrong with either, but they SHOULD NOT be compared. It's not fair to the BBK to be compared to a turbo that flows 10lbs+/min. It's GREEN territory, plain and simple. Theses threads are getting so beaten already.

That is what makes sense but CBRD has posted dynos that would imply the BBK matches or beats the Red whp wise on pump. Once more tuners put in their two cents the picture will clear up one way or the other.
NOW when the BBK is CONSISTENTLY time and time again putting out numbers 430+WHP, then compare the two. To this day ONE person with a BBK barely (Kreionic) broke 400. BTW those are on PUMP. On E85 which is also considered "pump" in many areas it becomes an obliteration.
