FP RED dyno results thread
I'm not trying to get into a technical debate and hijack the thread. I'm simply saying (comparing) that if the Green does in fact hit full boost at 4000 and the Red just shy of that. The Red seems like the winner overall considering that it flows roughly 60-lbs/min vs. the 47-lbs/min that the Green offers. Even when it comes to other stock-like turbos, that reach full boost (set roughly at 27PSI) around 3400 or so, I personally don't believe that a mere 800 or so RPM would equate for any other stock-framed turbos to be supreme than the Red. These are just my thoughts.
That is the same that I've read on various threads. E85 changes the whole equation. An option with E85 is not to run that 30PSI sweet spot but then why run E85 in the first place? I, personally do not want to have to buy the double pumper right off and I might hold off on making the E85 conversion and have the potential on-tap until the time is right.
I like what you put down particularly around the 7K mark as I usually stay around 6900-7200 when shifting. I plan on comparing your graph to see where (if at all) my optimum shift points would change to.
