Yeah, is flying now. Although, I've been running rich lately on pump gas (even threw a code saying that I'm running too rich lol) and I'm in need of a retune soon. Maybe is the gallon of race gas that was left on my car........maybe not.........anyways, more power for me .

Can a red make over 300tq at 7500rpms??

Is it the engine or the turbo that is fading on torque?

It sure can. Even at 28psi on the CBRD Mustang dyno! My dyno only goes to about 7200rpms but you can see it would make just over 300lbs @ 7500rpm. M

I wont bother to go into how low this dyno reads............

We made a little over 400 wtq on the Buschur Mustang at 7500 rpms. Fp_RED, FP_5R cams.

This is one of the printouts from the days session. A few changes were made after this which increased power from 7k up. This one appears to be around 390+wtq at 7500. David did a very good job of improving on the tune, as well as the entire parts combination just worked.
Switzers dynojet on same day, same tune showed about a 7 % increase over these numbers. At the track we picked up about another 20-30 whp, based on log data.

Yes, and a few others. I can't seem to get away from the stock appearing turbo. What can I say, I love them.

I am impressed with the FP cams. Tom what's your opinion when it comes to Buschur's BF272s vs the FP-4r and FP-5r's?

Buschur's Cams are as good as you can get for the VIII's. I've looked at the specs and David obviously has the best results that any cam could hope to see. The FP4R's are similar in many respects, but you just can't argue with results. The BFC's have been used on some of the quickest, fastest Evo's of 2008. The FP5R's are completely different cams and require more tuning and thought as to clearance issues and where the power is going to be made. The lift and duration is greater, which gives them more potential up top. Idle, on the IX, was smoothed out, by adjusting the cams through the mivec, which made it a convenience that isn't available on the VIII's. Again, the FP-5R's made more power, but required more 'setup' than just throwing them in the head and running them.
