I'm enjoying reading through the various threads about the FP Red and BBK Full (no thread jack attempt). I'm pretty torn about which route is for me. Bottom line, I absolutely cannot stand V-8s...period. I spend the majority of my time on the street and a fan of both autocrossing and drag racing. I'm thinking that during street and drag racing the FP Red on high boost will fit the bill but during autocrossing the FP Red on low boost might fit the bill. What do you fellahs think?

Thanks for the video. I will watch it after this. BlueDemon, when are you hitting full boost and what are your other "go fast" mods?

Honestly, I haven't paid too much attention to that but I will take a look at that after I come back from vacation around Christmas. Really, you won't even feel the lag on this turbo, especially not with the torque that I'm putting down. It just pulls you back to the seat as soon as you go WOT, it's crazy!

Mods are:

Engine:
Stock Motor
Cosworth M2 Cams
Supertech springs and Ti retainers
Fidanza Exhaust Cam Gear
ARP head studs
Denso one-step colder plugs set at .022

Turbo Kit:
FP RED
Buschur Ported Exhaust Manifold
EPM 02 DUMP
Forced Performance HP Wastegate Actuator
Forge manual boost controller

Fuel:
880cc Precision Injectors
Single Walbro fuel pump

Intake:
Buschur Intake Pipe and Filter Kit

Cooling:
ETS 3'' Intercooler
ETS upper and lower IC pipe kit

Exhaust:
Tanabe Downpipe
JIC DE Type 1 ST (Semi-Titanium) Series Cat Back Exhaust

Electronics:
Stock ECU on Pump & C16 Tuned by: Gadiel
Zeitronix Wideband with display
Switching maps with EcuFlash

Lightweight Parts:
ETS Odyssey Mini Battery kit

Drivetrain & Suspension:
Exedy Twin Disc Clutch
Under hood shift bushings
AMS shifter bushings

Thanks to Mike@AwdMotorsports for this format .

Man, I'm torn like the Fat Boys break up about the FP Red and BBK Full. I've seen the BBK Full spool close to stock IX turbo rate and then I read about the FP Red lag not being "felt". In a perfect world, I would have the ability of taking a test drive with both in different scenarios before making my decision. I really don't want to have to go the double pumper route ($500 bill not worth it IMO). But, I have E85 selling for $1.18/gallon here at Fort Hood that I want to take advantage of. I'd really like to take advantage of the added torque E85 will provide but at what point (whp/wtq wise) do I have to go with a double pumper? I've seen a BBK Full on E85 with 1000cc injectors and I wonder would they suffice for the FP Red. Decisions, decisions, decisions...

^^in my opioion it really doesnt make send to have a turbo where you know it has a limit of boost and a limit of power to another turbo where the limits are really unknown and has been pushed to 38psi and still making power
