Another important note is rpm is very hard on valve train and bottom end components compared to manifold psi. If the cam/spring choice are optimized with the FP you will make good power without the additional stresses on your motor. The higher you rev the more the torque goes away with a smaller turbo. You can test this yourself at the track.

I purchased the spring/cam combo from Forced Performance. I have the FP4Rs. Am I wasting my time on the springs for the Red Turbo?

If Robert a FP suggests these as a combo Your on the right track. Your dyno time will give you the info. you need to know when the best shift point will be. Usually this is lower than most would think.

I'd venture to say that any springs designed by FP being run on a FP turbo is a good choice. As far as the best "shifting points" are concerned, what is the most preferred route to get it as "right" as possible? I realize this might be a mini-thread-jack but I'm hoping that the answer is pretty straightforward. Thanks.
