i am currently rewiring my car, JDM 2006 Evo IX, and just trying to get it started (intercooler, etc is not in)

however the car is tumbling but i am not getting any spark or injector pulse.

i used Scantech to see what codes the car was pulling. i set it to Jeff Protocol as i read on this site and scanned the car. do i need to choose my car from the menu as well? because there is no Evo!

i got the follwoing codes:

• P0000
• P0110 - Intake Air Temperature Circuit Malfunction
• P2226

Note: the MAF was not connected to the car.

everytime i try clearing the codes with Scantech, they disappear initially and then come right back!

Any suggestions???

how do you know you are not getting any spark
or injector pluse?

how did you check it??
