GT-A transmission oil change

Hi, basically does anyone know where I can find an on-line guide showing how to do an oil change on the auto transmission, and which parts I'll require - such as filters, sump plug washers etc.

Done a search on here, on the web, on the UK site (where I'm from) but no luck as yet.

Also does anyone have a GT-A workshop manual - The auto box is not covered in the normal Evo workshop manual.

Regards.

Aren't there any Mitsubishi dealers in the UK? I would go there and ask if you can.

Yes, but are unhelpful because it is an import. We did not get the GT-A in the UK, therefore no one in my local Mitsubishi dealership knows much about them.

basically your typical auto fluid change
u can use the fluid exchange machine or a diy method i usually use

it takes approx 7-8qts of Diamond SpIII oil
drain tranny on the side bolt, usually a hex.
when finished, close back.
remove the cooler line that pumps to the radiator.
fill tranny with 1 qt. start and let fluid pump out of line removed and shut engine off when fluid stops. repeat till fluid comes out same colour as went in.
button up and fill to spec. take a drive and recheck.

Thank you VERY much, that is most helpful.

Do you replace the sump plug washer too? or is it not necessary?
How about a filter, is there one? (inside the sump maybe?)

Regards

sump plug washer yes but no biggie really

some carry an external filter like an oil filter to screw out and yes change it if it has one

if not, then it has an internal which should be replaced but only when the sump pan is removed
