Are Brian Crowers Really that good?

Well, I have 272's BC's. I am curious if they are really worth the money and if it really adds power gains? Or should I go ahead and dump them and upgrade to different cams? I am just seeing what other people are running or their opinions of BC's....
Thx feedback will be appreciated.

As soon as the boost exceeds about 24-25psi, they become restrictive.

They are low lift cams that do not move a lot of air.

For street use, I would look at a set of BFC272's, FP4R's, JUN272's, Kelford's, GSC S2's, or Cosworth's. Any of those cams will work very well on our cars. THE BC's just don't show much gain, if any.

I have a set of BC280's and have been running them for about 2 years. I love them. I ran them on a 2.0 and a 2.3. I love them for the money I spent on them. 500 for springs, retainers and both cams.

They are certainly a better choice for the VIII's over the IX's

I see.. I have noticed that they really don't 'lobe' like the HKS 272's. Guess that all depends on the manufacture and the settings on the tune. I just don't hope I waisted my time and money with the BC's.

I've seen them make over 700hp on c16 and a 37r. Stock head, im and tb.

There are better cams out there, but these won't be your 'downfall'.

Junk; either save your money or spend enough to get a good set.

Gmore84, your answer is in the 2nd and 3rd post. Your thread title should've read "Are Brian Crowers really that bad?"
