I have an extensive database of cars I've tuned and by far and wide the BC cammed cars make less power, that's just a fact.

I had the BC280s in my car and they felt like stock cams, I believe they only make 34hp over oe. I could be wrong but didnt AMS test this already? I replaced them anyway.

Well ams test did show they did gain less power then other cams but for the money these cams will give good power and wont hurt your spool like others will. I love my bc280 i gained good power plus saved some money.

True overtime I will upgrade to something bigger and better. But BC's are holding up to me.. like everything you pay for name.. But for now the money and where i want to be far as power is ok... later I am upgrading everything...

What a bunch of bologna. When I put HKS 280's on my DD evo 8 I picked up power *everywhere*. HKS 280's are the perfect cam for the stock valvetrain imho. I ran them for 30k miles, and I just upgraded to Kelford 272's w/ GSC beehive springs. Love the new combo!

fyi the S1 cams have made mid 400s on the FPgreen and i've seen one set of S2s on a green make 500... lets also not forget what Lucas English has done with a set of S2 cams and a stock evo 9 turbo...
S2s or bust.

S1s I seem to see low 400s on pump with a Green

S2s I personally ran faster at less boost on pump vs race gas

The S2s that Lucas has in his car now made 506/499 with the stock turbo and held good power out to well past 7500. The same exact cams were in Paul's car when it made 1014whp on the Magnus Street sheetmetal intake.

From back in the day the DSM BC 280s hurt spool and didnt make any more power. The lobecenters are 106* which is way to tight for what we need on DSM or Evo apps.
