will tein coilovers work on the 09 lancer b/c i saw a black one with teins sticker on it... i am ****en dying to put tein basics on mine i need to know!!!!!!! i really don't want to resolve to the megan ones

MARK7, octane is talking about coilovers, not the tein s-tech springs. i have those on my car, im getting rid of them though. i like H&R better forsure. unless tein makes a specific one for our cars soon. those s-techs are from the previous gen lancer, they make wiers sounds and **** and the car is really hard to steer sometimes. i wouldnt recommend them.

 

G is talking ****, I have them on my car and they handle like no tomorrow. G's driven my car and says they handle different to his, he just has a f'd up set or they're not installed properly! I love em other than when the car bottoms-out.

they're not made for 08 lancers. i wouldn't put anything on that wasn't specifically made for my car. There's a reason why parts have applications for them. Just because they fit by chance doesn't mean it's good for the car. just my $.02

If I'm not mistaken they aren't Evo fronts, the middle of their bumpers have just been painted black.

Our next meet is this saturday, check it out and hopefully you can make it out sometime. The last meet was crazy, lots of cars!

 

Ya, the bumpers are vinyled in flat black. We have a vinyl guy in our club who can hook you up if you ever need it, black out your bumper or grill and spoiler accents.

 

LOL, i personally hate them, the ride is twitchy, very bouncy, etc. the same issue's are seen in another frnd's car who has the same car as mine i.e. the 5 spd. he complained about all the things i was talking about. i guess its diff on a cvt. so clearly they were installed right and are not a ****ty set biaaatchhhhh!!!

i dont care though, im getting rid of them at the end of the summer and picking up some H&R's for next summer.

 

what's up T-Dot ( Hydro ) I didnt know there was a lancer club down there. Cant seem find any down O-town. I drive a 09 gts and just installed th eibach pro kit. which tein spring did you install in your lancer? From what year lancer was it from?
