Need to rebuild a stock turbo...sorta...any good shops?

Guys I have a problem. I bought a used IX turbo but only the CHRA and compressor housing since I already have a 10.5 hotside. The price at the time was good, so I bought it but due to UPS stupidity I received the turbo with a broken exhaust wheel. It's semi-hard enough to find IX turbos, so I'd rather rebuild it instead of UPS screwing me out of the insurance money and still leave me without a turbo. Now I have 2 options for rebuilding it...either getting a used 8 exhaust wheel and swapping it in or buy a brand new wheel for $200. Either way I think the new/old wheel has to be balanced to the compressor wheel, correct? I see 2 grind spots on the compressor wheel's nut (as well as on the exhaust wheel), so I'm pretty sure that the entire CHRA is balanced as one piece. Where would a good place be to send it out and have rebalanced, and what's the going rate these days? Kinda sucks to have such a low mileage turbo end up costing me way more than I expected.

BBK or red dude, get it done By the time you buy a new wheel, pay for disassembly/reassembly, you might as well just go 'big' and have something to really brag about!

I love my IX turbo, but if something ever happens to it, it's getting upgraded, not 'repaired'

Yep send it to CBRD or FP for "zee treatment".

What you will get back in the mail will cause painful perma-grins all the way

I called them up earlier today at work, nice guys and I'm going to go with them. I might as well just buy the new wheel and let them balance it from scratch, probably better in the long run anyway to avoid bearing clearance problems. Thanks! If I had the money within the next few weeks I'd go for the full BBK upgrade, but I really don't see that happening just yet. Times are tough.
