Couplers are the rubber / threaded pieces that connect the intercooler piping in your turbo system. Mitsubishi's are weaker than most and can expand when the boost is turned up. When people upgrade, they don't just get couplers, they get piping WITH couplers.

You can get them from Extreme Turbo Systems, Nisei, AMS, etc. Usually you want a matched system so the diameter of pipe matches from intake to the intake manifold.

Regardless of what you add, the odds are you'll need a tune to make it work correctly. (especially metal intakes)

Ah ok. I was thinking maybe I should get these as a quick mod, but I'm planning to get some piping so I'll just make sure I get one with the couplers. Thanks.
