You get what you pay for. Megan is pretty darn good for the price but then again so are the ebay units. Next time search.

megan downpipes are so nice that even an old shop called RnR used to use theirs and play them off as their own- get the flex section one tho

Wrong that is the old version that wont fit the ACD models. The new megan downpipe is probably the BEST bang for the buck downpipe. It is a very nice piece, I especially like the cast steel neck, and the fitment is perfect. I have installed it on a few cars and would never suggest another downpipe to use.

I have a meagan dp on my ride and im satisfied. Its a great piece, but again, brand, flow patterns, build quality, appearance, ect. all play a role in selecting any part. Search and see what you think will make you most happy.

Megan does not endorse using their flex section downpipes on ACD cars. ANYONE who tells you different is gravely mistaken or LYING!!! (the flex versions are cheaper, so there is a higher profit margin)

However, if you dick with it enough, you can "make" a flex section unit fit an ACD Evo without rubbing. HOWEVER, Megan makes a downpipe JUST for ACD cars that does not have a flex section. Not even going into how much better the non-flex flows. Also, the non-flex pipe fits GREAT on non-ACD cars. Since finding out that the non-flex fits 03' and up, I only recommend and offer the ACD version to my customers.

My Blitz DP is a flex pipe, clears ACD. Love it. Megan can eat a big one.

If you really have to ball on a budget, just get a used one.

If you had read the thread and understood it, you would have seen that Megan HAS a flex DP for non ACD cars... it's what they started with, and what my comment was about. THE FOCUS OF THIS THREAD HAS BEEN ABOUT MEGAN DOWNPIPES!

What do the kids say? Reading comprehension owns you? I fixed my comment to help you out!

Listen to Zeus, dont use this on a ACD equipped car.. I had a friend that did and it possibly ended up colliding with the tcase during a launch. We thought it was due to a twin plate that was recently installed when it happened, but after it was all put back together I got under the car and realized that it could have been this downpipe hitting the tcase. If your gonna get the Megan DP on a ACD equipped car get the correct DP.

Megan with Flex pipe on 06 MR

The results. Broken Tcase, Broken splined shaft, destroyed center diff.. VERY Expensive lesson learned. This was back when people were saying that this DP would work with the MR's but that it was a "tight" fit. Cost Donald thousands of dollars.

Here's a Tanabe Concept G DP on my MR with clearance
