Reviews on PLX devices

hello guys.
i was checking out the PLX DM-100 gauges they look great.
i have searched the internet for some reviews about these products regarding the efficency and accuracy but couldnt find any.
i wish if any of you guys have knowledge about these products that you can share with me. and i was wondering if i can have the reading on this gauge in METRIC units if its possible.

Awesome gauges. You can actually feed 4 sensors into one gauge. So you can do 4 individual EGT's or all your usual sensors in one neat package. Customizable screen works awesome and easy to read.

I just bought the sm-afr unit. Have not installed it yet. The unit looks very nice and well made. The connectors and wiring appear to be well put together. The PLX website is nice and has good technical info. I bought from their online store and they shipped the same day.

I went through two lc-1's over the last 2 years and got sick of it. I have two friends who have had no problems with their lc-1's. From what I can tell it is hit or miss. Far too many people complaining about lc-1's to not think they have issues.

When I install the sm-afr I should have a good idea to where it is relative to my lc-1 was since I've not changed anything since. The shootout where the plx did poorly I'm quite skeptical of. I measured my lc-1 against an Autronic wideband with a very expensive sensor and it was off a half point on boost reading rich so I know the lc-1 isn't perfect. I think all widebands are gonna be close enough if you wire them up right.

The final thing that made me go with plx is I read a post from a guy in Australia who owns an Autronic wideband and a plx and he always found the plx to perform well.

You can actually scroll through with the remote and show up to 32 parameters, and up to 4 at once. I bought two thinking i would need them both (one is more than enough) i'm just going to buy more sensors.

I have been interested in several PLX products for a long time. I recommend you look on their own forum on their website and read the reviews and feedback there. you also get the chance to see how PLX handled the situation, or maybe didn't. I know I read a few things on there that were factors in why I still do not have the PLX products I was interested in installed in my car.

We've used PLX, Innovate, and AEM. Biggest complaint of the Innovate is the warm up / calibrate times, very annoying. The PLX and AEM are on when the car starts. We've verfied both the AEM and the PLX with the Innovate. They all read the same or close enough that I couldnt tell a difference.

I don't think you will see oil temp or exhaust temp because I know Evo 1-9 never had those sensors.

That is interesting... does it signal to the ECU or just straight to the guage cluster?
