Is the hose kit overpriced or worth it in your opinion?

I went with 2 x singles. this way I don't have to run hoses across the engine ... 1 on each side is perfect, and I believe only $20 more if you buy them individually .

I have the dual catch can mounted to the AMS small battery kit. Hoses run under the strut brace and UICP, not noticeable at all. Kit works great.

Okay just finished my four day trek of an install on a bunch of crap and got my DC3 installed. First off, you will likely need roughly 18 feet of hose to install properly. I had 20 and about 2-4 left over. Second, if you are like me and have the ETS short path UICP, you are SOL on the 'below the BCS' option. It required a custom made bracket, but I mounted my can between the air filter and my mini battery. I will post pics ASAP (assuming I remember). I would still recommend the dual connected can for us Evo owners because mounting locations are at a premium and running fuel hose all over your engine bay is not that bad, nor is it ugly with the proper use of zip ties.

So you recommend the DC3 with the 2 tanks connected or the 2 tanks separated?

Do you have pictures of your setup. I am thinking about doing in the air compressor filter DIY too.

I would recommend the connected tanks, basically because I like the aesthetic appeal of them connected. I dont think either has any real pros and cons over the other. Mounting is very difficult in the engine bay and I would say one mount point is easier than two.

I have to give props to my old man on that one, I promised I would . I have to admit, he did a nice job on it.

Its a piece of anodized aluminum, heated, bent, and cut a bit to fit under the battery tie down and a little to the right because the piping runs right on my filter and we tried to minimize pressure on it.
