I run Amsoil SSO, and I did 6200 miles with a Wix filter first oil change... which I guess was risky.

Blackstone informed me the results came back great, everything looked good, and to run 7.5k oil changes with the Wix filter.

So first oil change and a baseline UOA, and i'm set. I'll probably do these tests every year... THAT'S good piece of mind, not saying well I changed it easly so my engine must be fine...

change it after every 3K. Evo's are not NA you cant run an oil for 10K miles. Keep in mind you probably boost 20+ lbs. Almost everyone on this forums does their oil changes every 3K miles I would suggest you do the same if you don't want any problems
