How often do i need to change the gearbox oil in my IX?

 

You need to search, there's a guide here somewhere, showing severe and light duty fluid change specs.

 

Actually it's right at the top of this page.

 

I would do it every other oil change.

 

I would follow the guidelines in the manual.

 

Severe use 15k Normal use 30k as per owners manual.

I have always followed a 8k-10k change.

 

15-20k depending on how much you beat on it, make sure you put in a GOOD transmission fluid oil, itll make a big difference in shifting. Mine gets Redline trans fluid, been running it for past 50k of owning my car. Stock trans. Only a few times, where I miss shifted but that was due to other present issues at the time.

 

I don't have a manual that's why i'm asking.
