oil temp gauge install

jIm installing my oil temp gauge, where do I mount the oil temp sensor?
oil pan??
somebody please let me know

There should be a two hex beside the oil filter, you should install it there.

You got it . Except one is a hex which you probably will need a 90 elbow for the sensor becouse of the axle. But the other one is a allen wrench bolt that is perfect and no elbows needed. GIve it a try.

you mean i gotta drill the hole near the oil filter??
im asking not about evo specifically, but most cars

Use a 8mm allen tool to remove one the two 8mm plugs located near to the oil filter. Use that for your sending unit.
