Mike, I do believe that you may be in luck. I THINK we have some extra COP's this time around. Get with Nick/Jarrod on Monday. We sure do appreciate all your business.

Thanks for the input TTP, much appreciated and I like your avatar.

Very interesting turn of events here this morning.

A recent internet pissing match, which I seem to get into quite often Let me with this frame of mind: "I'm going to offer our COP's at cost, make them pretty and put pin #8 ground in." Just to hurt really put the hurt on the competition. So this morning I needed to discuss this with Dan, my brother who does all the wiring. I told him, "Look, I want to offer our COP's all prettied up and use that pin #8 ground." He then said, "I can't believe the time you waste on the internet with these *******s and so you know our COP's have used that pin#8 ground for about 2 years since your last big argument." I said, "WHAT?!" He walked me over to MY own car and pulled the plug off my M&W and showed me that in fact, the ignition is wired to M&W's spec and pin #8 is used. While I am on this topic though I want to point out, long before we used pin#8 our EVO was the first in the world to go 8's and our ignition was loaned to AMS of OUR car to allow them to also fix their misfire problems and run 8's for the first time too. Yes, someone be sure to cut and paste this to Craig, I am not on his page. I just want the CORRECT facts to be known. Thanks and have a great day.

Now that I have your attention on the topic. We will be releasing a billet plate very similar to our original design back in '03, other changes will include a prettier wire wrap and wiring to spec per M&W's instructions, which I didn't realize we have been doing for a long time anyway. These will be done with enough profit in them to cover the 3% credit car/paypal transactions and the time involved in wiring, which I have to pay Dan for doing.

If you are in the market for a COP, hold off just a bit, you are going to like what you see.

Dave is a friend from when before he opened up Buschur racing. So I value his opinion. I too know for a fact that the extra ground is not needed. I have been running an M&W for a very long time now with no extra ground. M&W is a leader in this stuff and makes it stupid proof.

Twisted Wires.
I know this, once you panzies graduate and run real ECU's, you will realize that anything with the CAN bus or anything with a RACEPAK will require twisted wires. Those electronics don't like interference at all.

So, I agree you wont need to twist the wires for a POS AEM, but for other stuff you will.
