aem ems/ buschur cop cdi/ no spark

installed my buschur cdi cop , hooked the positive side of the m&w box to the positive side of the battery, hooked the ground side to the ground on the battery (got a spark as soon as this touched) .. went to fire up the car and nothing.. so we took the plate off the car and grounded one of the spark plugs to the manifold and we got zero spark.. any ideas? crank and cam sensors are brand new!!

does the m&w box have a fuse seperate from the inline one? did you check all the fuses on the car? take a good look ad see if anything else isnt working.

The M&W box has a diode that can go bad... I've had one fail once but was covered under warranty. The fact the OP got a "spark" when connecting makes me believe that it could have blown.

when you have the key to the on position do you see the red light on the CDI box light up? Are the coils all the way down on the plugs? Everything plugged in? Sorry for the easy questions but the smallest things can sometimes stand in your way.

Cam and crank sensors can both cause the car to not have spark. Dan is right, is the red light lit up on the end of the CDI box? If so there is probably a problem elsewhere.
