Urgent help needed

Popped a freeze plug, pulled the turbo kit and was replacing the new one, didn't have a seal driver like I should have and just used a socket. This is the result. The plug was all the way inside the block, I got it out with a magnet and now it's kind of resting on the hole of the block but could still drop down at any time with a good knock. Who here can come up with the most creative solution to get this son of a ***** out?

The edge you see on the right side (looks distorted) is where it is holding onto the block the best.

You could try a magnet with a stronger Pull Force. 25lb might do the tric. For a great price and fast shipping, try Magcraft or good old McMASTER-CARR.

get a punch tap one edge in, that will flip an edge up for you to grab with Pliers.

I just talked to JAM. They said the way they get freeze plugs out of the block is to punch them in first and then bend them with a "lady foot pry bar".

That is what I would do. Just use a small drill bit to minimize the amount of metal shavings that will be created.
