Do you have the O2 housing and downpipe that go with the RNR manifold already? The O2 housing is an issue for sure if you want the big numbers.

I have an RNR manifold on my car that I got for $200. Here are my observations:

1. It was cracked and I had to patch it up.
2. The insides are nowhere near the quality of the other manifolds out there.
3. The basic ramhorn design and shape are OK, and proven on Full-Race Honda manifolds, but the execution is a little lacking.
4. It took me a couple days of screwing around to fit and build a true 3 inch O2 housing to work with the manifold - it wasn't easy.

If you are looking to really squeeze out every drop of power, in the long run it's going to be easier to get a manifold, O2 housing, and downpipe that is still supported and makes good powa. I'm worried that when my manifold continues to crack I'll have to replace all that stuff again.
Awesome post! I'm glad you have some actual experience with it. And yes it is fitted to a 38mm wastegate at the moment, I was thinking of porting it when it came off to make it work well with a 44mm, but it doesnt look like I'll be going this route. I will be getting a new manifold, and I'm seriously considering staatz 37r. This thread has been a bit depressing Seems I have a solid 4-5k to spend even after I pay mike@awd and dave buschur for the motor. Good news is, it should be solid! When its all buttoned up, I think I will be taking to CBRD for a tune. Their shop is AMAZING!

I already bought the cams, so if anyone has a pair they'd like to trade straight up for the tomei 280's, I'm cool with that. I know these cams hold a veeerryyy high value to you 2.0 fans.

you should get the new Buschur racing front facing turbo manifold and some BF272 cams and your choice of T3 style turbo and you'd be set!!!

You should get the new ETS twin scroll manifold, pair it with a 67mm. That should be plenty for 650whp, but it wont be on straight pump. If you want to make that on pump only, a 4094 could probably do it.

There are much better and more efficient turbos than 67mm old school turbo.. also, the 4094 is a laggy pig and doesnt make anything more than the new billet 62's..

I would use a 6262 billet wheel Precision turbo.. The same turbo we just made near 800whp with and ran 8's..

the manifold is garbage and 6262 is a good turbo. if you want an hta35r then just get a regular 35r. no difference cept in your head and other peoples mouths.

edit- you will come nowhere near 650 on a mustang and barely crack 600 on a DynoJet.

Not really much to explain. All 3 turbos I stated in my OP all make around the same power/spool levels depending on the tuner. All 3 will make good power and capeable of running 9's. So Id go with the one that has a cheaper price tag. Honestly dont know why I said 6262, Id take a standard 3582 over it as thats what Im running now and am making enough progress as it is with a small amount of mods. (compared to others)

The standard 35r in no way can compare to the 6262 and the price tag is very similar.. sure if you wanna stay with old technology you can run a 3582 but for a couple hundred more the 62mm billet wheel will kick the 3582's *** all day long.. the 6262 is much more efficient..

A standard 35R is nowhere close to an HTA35. The old 35 has a 65lb/min wheel and the HTA has a 75lb/min wheel. Add other features to it like a TS housing and it will outspool an old 35 all day long 365 days a year.

The line up should look something like:

3586
6262
"6235"
TS4088R

They all can get you to your goal on racegas or pump meth, just research what is closest to your goals.
