cant decide which clutch to get

im in between the two with the exedy twin disc and the ACT clutches i know the deal about both of them and the price differences. i would just like to know your guys input for my mods. i have all most of the basic bolt ons at 335 whp 345 wtq. im kinda leaning towards the ACT street clutch because ive heard good things and the price is way more affordable than the exedy. only thing ive heard bad about the ACT clutches are the lockout issues, will i get any with this clutch?

I purchased the Twin Disc and I am extremely happy. Contact MAPerformance.com their price was very good on the Exedy model.

For your mods and horsepower, the ACT will do just fine.

You're not going to find a definitive answer about whether or not you're going to get lockout issues. Some people love their ACT and wouldn't think twice about buying another. Other people experience the lockout issues and swear never to buy ACT again. Just like the people that experience the spring clip popping out of there Exedy Twins, while other people have no problem with the unit. From what I've read, many people blame it on install errors. So I'd definitely have an experienced shop do the install, no matter which direction you go.

yeah man i hear you, its just so hard to decide ya kno? Like yea u wana do the best for your car but $2000 is alot for a clutch and then i gotta expect another $550 for the install. There is ups and downs for each of them and i guess i will just have to see what happens

Have you thought about the F3.2?

exedy Twin without question, if you upgrade to alot more hp, you can always just upgrade it to a triple. you will be happy in the long run that you did.

And Id also consider getting it with the PUSH Conversion. Im pretty sure Buschur is selling it now, and I know AMS has them. Its more money but its well worth it.

the HD stands for Heavy Duty, SD= standard duty, i think the only difference is the pressure plate.
