fp red vs fp green on pump results
You are running the double pumper, right? Do you have a chart that you can post?
All of the numbers discussed in this thread are on pump 93 only.... no meth, no E-85. With all supporting mods, expect around 400WHP on a mustang dyno and well over 400WHP on a dynojet. I would guess that if I dyno'd on a dynojet I would be around 450 - 460whp on 93oct.
heres for all the ppl that ask what would i make with x,y,z mods or how about a,b,c mods....i love when ppl post that...

izabran: Yup, it matters, as the Red uses the IX(not VIII)compressor housing and backing plate. Call FP and ask their advice before sending it in.

Look I'm going to answer your question. If your only going to run the red turbo on pump in MIA, FL with the lovely humidity you guys have most of the year. I think the red is a waste of money. Like Mike said if you plan on using race gas, E-85, or meth then upgrade to the red. I feel that with the power increase of just a turbo swap on pump gas it doesn't compaire to amount of money you will spend for it and the vehicle downtime

Why wont they spend $2k on an FP Red for ~60 - 70WHP on 93 octane?
I made 407WHP on a mustang dyno with my Red where Evo 9 turbo's with same bolt-on's as me make maybe around 330 - 340WHP. This is with 93 octane, conservative tune @25psi. The Red makes good power on pump.
Maybe the Red needs to be on that Mythbusters show
