Here is what I have in mind.
-Built 2.0 block
-Built head and cams (not sure about cams yet)
-mini radiator
-front facing turbo kit
-35r sized turbo (most likely an HTA86)
-and all the stuff that goes along with a build like this (exhaust, intercooler, piping etc...

Buschur has all of that. Go with Buschur parts, you won't be dissapointed.

I installed a JDM rear bumper about a week ago. it was a lot more involved than i thought it would be. when I went to install the plate bracket I found that there was no way this will fit. Nothing a little cutting, bending and two rivets couldn't fix. I think the jdm bumper looks great. It gives the car a more aggressive look.

Thanks Ivan, I was at your shop for the swap meet. I sold a lot of my old STI parts there.

Your proposed mod list leads me to believe that you are most interested in straight line acceleration. I am curious as to why you chose an AWD platform for this? The limitations of AWD and added expense over a RWD build have my curiosity peaked about your choice.

Im a fan of AWD turbo cars, Evo's have a ton of potential to make power. as far as straight line acceleration goes I think that the Evo is a great choice. these cars are all around winners in cornering, braking, acceleration ect... I agree that it will be expensive to build this car. But after seeing what they are capable of at the track and on the street it was a no-brainer. The AWD is limiting in the sense of top speed highway pulls, but as far as the quarter mile goes they are almost unstopable. Im not building this car with a strict purpose in mind. Its just going to be a monster on the street that may occasionally see the track

Just ordered my exhaust today. I decided to go with the buschur V-band exhaust (starting at the downpipe). I like how the buschur exhaust looks like no other system out there, and its the lightest. They are also building it with a factory 2 bolt flange to meet up to the stock downpipe. I requested it this way for a couple reasons. it will be a piece of cake to throw the factory cat back on for emissions, and when the turbo kit gets ordered the downpipe will bolt right up. I will put up pic's as soon as I get it.
in the mean time here is a picture of the cars with the Apexi N1's and Volk RE30's I just got in.[IMG][/IMG]

Its only been 1 day, but so far so good. bearing plates up front had a few squeaks here and there, the weather might be a factor it is pretty cold in Chicago. this is not a daily driven car. I'm lucky enough to have a work truck.
over all i like them, the are very light weight.

I think building a 2.3L engine is better, you can enjoy it at the streets track and in the corners, you got an AWD car for god sake used it every way possible
