Planning a big build in chicago

Hey everyone, I am planing a big build in the future and I want to keep a record of it. what better place to do it than here. I bought my 2006 IX as gsr about a month ago and i'm already itching to pull to engine. I will continue to update this thread as the car progresses. take care everyone.

Congrats on the purchase. What are your proposed mods? You are not located very far from AMS and if you choose, we can certainly help guide you with your build.

Like Ivan said you should go with AMS, they are like the EVO gods around the chicago land area.

What do you have in mind buildwise?

im still doing my research. the only question for me is who to get parts from, im doing all the work myself.

If you get a chance, stop by the shop. We are in West Chicago (not too far south of you). You can talk to the sales guys and they can make recommendations for your build path based on your goals. You are welcome to tour the shop and see the parts that we build and sell.
