I have been thinking about doing a 2.3. Seeing as this car will primarily be used as a street car.

I would also agree with a 2.3, I had my ride with AMS and with 2.3 and their 50 trim turbo kit with the add ons with 93 octane and meth inject, the car made 500 whp and 465 ft lbs....

you will love the added torque the 2.3 will add, help spool up that 35R a bit better,

Good Luck with the build,

Steve

Here are some pictures of the Buschur V-band exhaust[IMG][/IMG]
Buschur was able to use a factory style flange on the bullet muffler for me, The will make bolting up a turbo kit or re-installing the factory exhaust a snap. It is full V-band from the muffler back.[IMG][/IMG]
I ordered the tip to be non-rolled and angle cut. thats just the look I liked.[IMG][/IMG]
The whole big shiny muffler look has been done a thousand times. I wanted a different look for my car. I am very pleased with the fit and finish of the Buschur V-band exhaust. Because the bullet muffler takes place of the cat, Buschur sent me a non-fouler with the exhaust hardware so I wont get a Converter code. This is the most complete exhaust I have ever used. Bob

That's one wicked exhaust. I'm subscribed to this thread. Wanna swap motor since you're building a new one

the way I ordered it was without the Downpipe. I wanted to be able to connect any factory style Downpipe to the exhaust. This was a special order exhaust that ran me $749. Check out Buschur's web site. It is offered in a full turbo back V-band setup if your planning on sticking with a stock location turbo
