Possible Misfire?
Ok, so I was driving on the highway the other day, in 5th gear, and down shifted to 4th to do a quick pass by a semi. When I got into fourth, I pressed the gas to the floor, and had boost spike at probably 25/26 PSI (at about 4k RPM), and at around 5.5k or 6k RPM, I heard a loud pop, like my LICP blowing loose or something like that. I thought that it came loose, but then my car was driving fine. When I got home, I checked everything and it seemed normal. After that loud pop, my car was still driving fine (except for the quick 2 sec when it popped), so I know that no hoses are loose.
I was going to let it go, but then it happened tonight when I downshifted from fourth to third, it popped again (almost like the same LICP popping off sound...). What I'm wondering is,
1- is this a misfire?
2- do I need to change my spark plugs?
3- did this change because I just put on my test pipe (i had my cat on for the longest time)
To my knowledge, I'm on the stock plugs that came with my car (stock IX plugs) and my mods are as followed:
-TBE Exhaust
-Walbro Fuel Pump
-FP Wastegate
-LICP
-Forge RS
-BR Intake
-Tuned for 24PSI
Advice or suggestions?

TBE exhaust,
are you sure your just not hitting fuel cut? I know my fuel cut (boost cut) is set at 25psi. If it stays there for longer then 1 second my car will backfire like a **** and almost make me hit my head of the steering wheel

I'm pretty sure I'm not because I talked to my tuner and that is something pretty obvious that comes off the top of our heads haha.

It had to be something with the test pipe, it did it like 2 days after I put the pipe on, and then last night.
I have had my tune / all my parts on for the past year with nothing happening.

If you're going to buy plugs, I don't believe the BPR7ES will work. The IX has different spark plugs than the VIII. They have longer threads to put the electrode down further. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I just bought some today...and yes they are ridiculously priced. If you have never changed the plugs...this is what should be in it.

PS...mine has 47k on it and I'm just changing out the factory plugs.

I've asked a few people and they have said that it may have just been bad gas?
It was Wal-Mart gas that I filled up with, but I have filled up with their gas for like 14 other times and nothing happened.
I'm going to stick to Shell now I guess and see what happens.
