fuel injector size
The FIC clearance issue you remember was with the Magnus cast manifold only. It was a very small issue with a simple solution. The FIC injector spray pattern is very good.
Double pump housings do not provide better flow from a set of injectors, unless the base fuel pressure is increased. They provide adequate volume to keep the fuel pressure where the computer assumes it is, so that the injectors don't provide less fuel than the computer calculates...

I'm going to bump this because I don't want to start a new thread.
I went with Precision 1200cc injectors for my BBK Full/GSC S2/supporting mods because I foresaw the possibility of running E85 as a race tune in the near future. I was under the impression that price was the only downfall of running injectors so big.
I have noticed that my car does not like starting unless it is either dead cold or perfectly hot. If the water temp needly is anywhere between the extremes, more times than not it will catch for a second and then shut off. I then have to crank the motor for several seconds before it catches again, at which point it runs fine. This is pretty embarrassing to have to do when trying to show a friend how great my car is.
I know it isn't the tune as I am tuned by one of the very best (CBRD). I doubt I will be running E85 any time soon so I am willing to step down to smaller injectors if it will get rid of this issue. Will it? Has anyone else experienced anything like this with big injectors? If not, what else could it be? Fuel pump?
Thanks guys.

wow i dont know how it could not be the tune if all you did was change injectors. Mellon tuning has some of the best prices on injector sales to answer your questions pm him for a deal. I defiantly understand the embarrassing part of constantly having to crank the car I have a friend that moved here from Mexico and he needs a tune bad. 30r with 2.3 fully built etc and he has cranking issues now and needs a retune bad. all he did was move from there to here and car started to crank and run like crap nothing changed.
