thanks a ton. have had this code for a while and as i was reading thru this i ran down and stuck my hand in there and sure enough a loose hose had popped off the bottom. thanks for bein geniouses for sure

 

this is awesome info glad to finally have found a few pages on the valve....and a question i have is, if this valve were bad or not working properly(loose hoses), would it cause the engine RPM to run-on inbetween shifts or at low boost and letting off the pedal?

 

Same thing was going in my evo dumb little hose Mitsubishi should have put a better design for that hose I hate stupid emission equipment
