I think we were pretty even on the Uego portion of the install, especially since I was the one under the car...haha...

and no, I do not think you can log with the Uego.

Haha fair enough. You can log with the Uego if you have an AEM EMS I believe.

I have an innovate and have never had this re-cal. problem. Been almost a year now. From temps in the 80's to 5 degrees. I am selling it when my aem ems is in tho and getting a UEGO.

Yes you can. The Uego comes with instructions to make a serial cable for logging. I'm not sure about mitsulogger but you can log it with EVOscan 2.5/2.6.

I also have an LM-1 and I wish it were possible to log with both at the same time to check for similarities and differences. I haven't had any trouble tuning with the Uego.

Also thanks for all the reviews, its really helping me decide which one to go for.
Yeah, just use that part number. its the same one everyone gets and you can find them for about 220 new if you look in the right places. If you need more links, let me know. i can find them pretty easily

The 5v wire is optional so I just taped it off but on DocCola's Evo I tapped the 12v into the ignition wire on his radio harness

Only problem I have had with my AEM UEGO gauge was that it freakin switches between lambda and afr ALL the time.

Spoke to an AEM rep and he said make sure the switch on the back is set to the correct setting for AFR. It was... No help after that.

I would say decent gauge, thumbs down on customer service.

I Have had my AEM UEGO for three years now and Love it. No problems what so ever. I have never calibrated it either.

And yes, it works just fine with Mitsulogger.

All you have to do is hang out in the LC-1 Forums for more then a day to see the many many issues people have. The threads get deleted by the mods on there, but if you visit frequently, you'll see just how many issues pop up.

bottom line the AEM works, with no hassle. I _really_ wanted an LC-1 but when the AEM came down in price, it was a no brainer.

This is great info.

I am in the process of chosing a wideband and was torn between the Innovate LM-2 and the AEM wideband. I like in theory the LM-2, because its eveything wrapped in one package (namely- datalogger, wideband and and software.) I also did some research on Innovate's forum and found that their customer service is less than desireable. There are also buggs that are yet to be worked out o ftheir new release.
I would say AEM UEGO all the way, based on the feedback here.
