Question Clutch Replacement!

Hello everyone!
Just need some imput on what clutch I should be buying?
My car is lightly modified, just to name a few; ic pipes, fuel pump, intercooler, 3'' downpipe, test pipe & exhaust, intake, boost controler... just need help in choosing the right clutch. Im not looking for performance, Im looking for something a litlle better then stock. I drive the car every day to work i put around 50hwy miles back/forth from work, plus where ever else I drive to.....
Also want to know if it is necessary to replace the flywheel when replacing a clutch?

Any imput will be greatly appreciated...
Thanks
Jose:

If you dont ''beat'' your car i.e 7000k plus shifting tons of launching then the cheapest and best performing clutch that offers good drivability and holding power will be the act HD clutch with a street disc otherwise the exedy stage one is a little cheaper but holds less power and abuse
As far as the flywheel goes stock is fine but you need to resuface it and only if they take off less then .015????dont qoute me on that but you need to look into it

I have the ACT HD with the 6 puck sprung hub and gruppe-s flywheel I don't launch mine hardly either but I will beat on it every now and then it's a good clutch little to no chatter and can hold a bit of power.

+1 I have the ACT HDSS and lightweight flywheel. My car is an everyday driver and I love this clutch, will handle a lot of HP as well.

If your considering spending 800 dollars on a kit also consider the fidanza 3.2?? theres a review of it on the evom home page and we recently installed one on a friends gt30r evo holds the power and feels lighter pedal then stock no chatter and similarly priced to the act package

Since your not looking to spend top dollar i was going to say do it right the first time and get a twin disk Exedy or QuarterMaster, because both clutches are able to be rebuilt once they go out

I would look into the New ACT HDSD kit. It offers an unsprung street disk that has tons of advantages.

We have these on the shelf as well.

Feel free to give me a call at the shop to talk about it

personaly, i like alittle stiffer pedal feel. the act hd pressure plate makes it feels like a healthier clutch and not a weak one. gives it a sense of durability. only thing with the act 6 puck disk youll get some vibration in the clutch pedal. other than that its one awesome set up for the money. and hell yeah, i would replace the flywheel since your in there.
