Any experiance with this clutch? ACT 6 puck?
6 Puck Sprung with prolite flywheel.
Grabs like a champ and isn't hard to drive. Only annoyance is trying to do a light slip, the clutch really wants to chatter a bit unless you give it a bit more goose. Its almost like an always in attack mode clutch, definitely livable for daily driving.

So people running the sprung 6 puck disc are say it's a pretty good trade off. I would assume the unsprung disc is a lot more like an on/off switch compared to the sprung disc.

Yea man, she is sitting balled up in the garage. Ill be lookin for an nice running IX in the spring
Also, the last post are on point. This clutch is more that easy to daily drive. I got used to it in one day. I only got chatter in reverse. Oh, and Scott hooked it up as usual. I bought 80% of my mods from him. Great support!

) The answer he received -- "The sprung is supposed to be more forgiving, however they are identical in feel and the "sprung" clucthes seem to reject the springs and toss them out of the disc.
Seems like the sprung 6 pucks just add chatter unless you give it a little more throttle. My unsprung would stall if you didn't give it enough throttle.
Id rather have the latter cuz I hate chatter! (
I used to rap)Take that for what you will.

Did you adjust the clutch pedal?
I have a HDSS pressure plate and a 6puck unsprung disc on a prolite flywheel. It feels great and I think its pretty easy to drive.. It does chatter a tiny bit at times but that doesnt bother me at all.
It does squeak a little bit on engagement, anyone else getting this?

I loved it when i first got it. but after about 3000 miles i had lock out issues with my 6 puck. Some people say they have lock out issues some dont. goodluck if you get the clutch.
well going from stock to act hd pressure plate, act sprung 6 puck, and a act streetlight flywheel i noticed vibration in my clutch pedal. thought there was something wrong but after searching, i guess thats normal. i had to change my driving style to get comfortable with the new clutch. i like it for dd.
Sprung or unsprung? I have only heard of one person with a unsprung 6puck getting lockout and after adjustment it went away.
You do have to adjust the pedal as the clutch gets older. The clutch disk (if you have an organic) gets smaller/thinner and you have to adjust the pedal out more as it gets older. Same goes with a puck clutch. They get smaller and also bed into the flywheel so adjust it out more if you get lockout problems. I No lift shifted my car quite a bit with my Sprung 6 puck and HD pressure plate with no problems.
