AVC-R strange RPM readings
Hey everyone,
I'm using an A'Pexi AVC-R for boost control and I've noticed something really strange today.
When I press the throttle a bit faster, the RPM reading goes haywire. Like for example it's reading 3000 and then you push gas in fast and it gets a reading like 5k 6k 7k and then drops down to the realistic reading. This happens just for a split second, I noticed it when I had gauges enabled on the AVC-R and it was just teleporting around instead of going smoothly. I'm also wondering what effect this could be having on boost and overall things on the car...
I haven't been able to log the car with EvoScan yet since I noticed it but from what I know, AVC-R is getting an RPM reading from the ECU, so the ECU could be having those same values at that given moment.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be or had a similar issue before?
Thanks,
Ales

John, no it's set up correctly, it's not misreading wrong all the time, it's just does a haywire reading when I tap/push in the gas fast. Bad ground seems quite likely though.
