Help! Advice needed!!

Ok guys...I really need some opinions on how to handle this situation. Let me start from the beginning.

June - Car started stuttering, fouled #4 spark plug - went to Mitsu, they changed wires, plugs boot etc.

November - Sick of Mitsu, found new shop ICS because I went there to have car re-tune after Mitsu wiped out flash. Car retuned, still down on power. Stuttering came back. ICS replaced coils, wire, plugs and re-tapped plug hole #4 b/c it was stripped.

Dec - car ran ok, stuttering & fouling plugs came back again. ICS replaced BOV, did some work on exhaust, other minor fixes.

Dec/Jan - 2 weeks later - car starts SPEWING white smoke - towed up to ICS. Piston #4 Finished - cracked right in half. Replaced the following - Valve job, pistons, rings, rods, head gasket and added cams. (at that point why not?)

Couple of days ago - got car back, running great for 4 days....oil light comes on and it starts stalling when coming to stop or at low RPMS. Once I give gas, oil light comes off. I take it back to ICS - he says - oil pump and main bearing shot, needs to replace - also need to boil block (to clean any frags of piston out), repair crank and balance shaft bearing.

At this point, I've had enough with this F#@kin car. Total spent - close to $10K, plus another $3200 if I do everything he's recommending. What do you guys think? Do it? Or fix the oil pump/bearing and hope the engine don't sh$% the bed?

One more fun fact - car has 115K on it!

I probably would have just done the shorty and front cover the first time.

Don't get discouraged. Do you have another car??? If so park the EVO for a while. You'll start to miss her and get motivated to get her running again. Save and build her right.

Get a Bushur, Jam, AMS shorty a new front cover assembly and timing components and drop her in
