I love my Perrin FMIC. Not fitment or trimming issues at all, and it fits with the stock undertray. ETS was my 2nd choice, but the Perrin had a larger core, cast end-tanks, and weighed less. Great combo IMO

Here is a nice graph on how it performs with the stock turbo @ 25psi:

The blue line is measured by the stock MAF @ the air filter, the pink line is measured inside my intake manifold by a GM AIT sensor. They are calibrated the same and read equal to each other when the car is cold and has no heat in it (sitting in the garage over night before turning the engine on).

^who cares about your pos perrin, this thread is about the buschur race core!

Here's pics of mine and install. I used some thick washers between the crash beam and the frame and mine fit snugly, but it fit. I used a hammer to smash the passenger side bumper cover mounting tab flat against the crash bar as it was the only thing that was in the way. Everything fits snugly, but it fits. No rubbing on any lines that I can see and no rattles b/c of clearances being too close.

Also if you look through the pics, I made my own LICP. I made a post about that here:

I installed it today, and it fits perfectly, the lines were not in the way. I did not refit the crashbar, just saving some more weight.

I second the Perrin. That plot looks great. Your intake temp is cooler than the actual MAF temp. Fitment is A++++ just perfect with the stock undertray. For the Bushur you need to trim or remove the undertray. You just cant beat the Perrin price. I got it on sale for under $500 delivered.

I was wondering the same. He's using a 2.5" to 2" reducer and the stock turbo outlet is 1.75"

Would you like a cookie for your Off Topic post in a thread specifically asking about the Buschur Race FMIC?
