as soon as my car hits boost it cuts out and stutters HELP PLEASE

so today when i was driving the upper intercooler pipe (injen kit) where it connects to the lower part of the UICP to the upper right next to the BOV popped off, so I reconnected it (this happened once before and I reconnected the piping and problem was solved) and when I try to drive the car just stutters sometimes it will start to drive but as soon as it starts to boost it cuts off...

I checked all the sensors and piping connections and everything is good, all I can guess is limp mode? so I tryed to disconnect the positive on battery for a few minutes and still had same problem, please help asap!

If you checked the the Upper and lower IC piping and everything is well put and all harness are plugged in, my next check would be the vacuum line running to the fuel pressure regulator. I've had alot of customers have that problem. If not then you might wanna check the spark plugs.

everything is connected including vacuum lines from what I can tell, this upper intercooler (2pc) pipe has disconnected before since I installed my intercooler and before when it did this I just pulled over and recoupeled it, problem solved..

Any ideas?

This UICP is 2 pieces and I had this problem before when I installed my fmic, I would just pull over and reconnect the coupling where it popped out and it would drive on fine, for the last week I had no problems with this new coupler I bought, today pulling out of my neighborhood the hoses popped out so I pull over and reconnect it but thisw time the car just sputters and barely goes above 10mph sometimes it will start to go normal and as soon as it starts to boost it cuts out

Sounds like it's still leaking. Check for torn couplers and make sure the clamps are fully on.

if theres no boost leaks then change your spark plugs, im assuming your on pump gas with 21ish psi of boost? grab you a set of NGK BPR7ES spark plugs for about 10 bucks, gap to around .024-.025 and see if that helps, you would be supprised how much a bad set of plugs can affect things..

it sounds like you have a boost leak.... check all of your couplers, and hose clamps... you may not have tightened all of the hose clamps tight enough...

If you replace your plugs and check your gaps, and the problem still persists try checking your Crank Angle Sensor and Camshaft Position Sensor. Both allow the Engine Control Monitor ( Computer) to fire the spark plugs and the fuel injectors at the proper time. I had a similar problem with my sr20det.
