Question Idle with Cams

Hey everyone,
i have a basic question ive been running cosworth 272 cams with and HKS RS intake and ive been having a horrible time with the idle... im just looking for suggestions and response to how other peoples cars idle with a similar set up

my a/f varies from 13.0 all the way to off my gauge

my vacuum jumps from around 13 to 10 and the rpms always drop when i come to a stop slightly then work their way back up

any insight will be appreciated thanks in advance

I have the same setup and my car idles fine. Every now and then it'll hiccup and I'll go either really lean or really rich, but I think that's just the nature of the cams.

I sure hope he added cams and then tuned. To modify and not tune is asking for it.

Mine used to do this depending on the intake setup that I ran, changing the intake sometimes changes the way the car idles with my cams and setup. Best way I found to keep the idle steady was to bump up the idle speed in the ecu and advance the timing by 1-2 degrees at that rpm speed.
