Excedy Twin problem possibly, moves car at idle in nuetral!

Alright here's the deal. The car is an 03, stock tranny/lines/everything. Has an Exedy Twin disc in there.

Here's what happens:

In the morning or when the car is cold (when i notice it the most), I push the clutch in..start it and then let the clutch out and the engine gets loaded like the clutch is grabbing and it lurks forward ever so slightly. This happens until the tranny/clutch gets warmed up basically, then i don't really notice it. It still may happen but it's very minor. When it's cold then it's completely noticeable and seriously moves the car about an inch forward in NEUTRAL.

Now, I've adjusted the clutch and the problem still arises. The clutch right now is adjusted where there is about a half inch or so play up top till pressure and the engagement is close to the center maybe a little more towards the top of the throw. It also has consistent engagement.

Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated

-Trevor

my car does this when its cold too and i have a normal eclipse GT.

i think its because the tranny fluid is so thick when cold and the fact that even in neutral the gears are still turning...

I have a twin disc and haven't run into this. I'd never even heard about it till now.

It's been happening to me for 4 years....still on teh stock clutch, 65k miles. Most noticeable in the coldest weather.

I think it's just the viscosity of the fluids in the drivetrain causing some mechanical transfer.

I had a feeling it may have been the fluid just being cold, because it pretty much goes away when it warms up and I never really noticed it in the summer. Thanks for all the responses guys.
